A thin strip on the edge of your screen shows how each deployment, check, payment and usage limit is doing. Point at a tool for the details.

How it works
Eight tools, one strip, no tabs to keep open.
Paste a read-only key for each tool you use. Claude Code and Codex connect with one click: 8tool asks the tools already on your Mac.
Each tool sits in a ring: green when all is well, turning while something builds, red when something failed. A payment that comes in announces itself.
Point at a tool and its card opens: the latest deployments, commits, payments or limits. Redeploy, re-run the checks, or open the full page.
Tools
Switch on the ones you use. More are on the way.
The latest deployments, Pages and Workers included, with the branch and the commit. A failed build shows its error and the end of its log; one click redeploys.
The newest commits of your repositories with the state of their checks, workflows and pipelines. Re-run what failed from the card.
The latest payments, from every business you connect. A new payment opens the card by itself for a moment; a failed or disputed one turns the ring red.
Your 5-hour and weekly limits as the tools report them, with the time to the reset. With an admin key, what your organization spent on the API today and this month.
Right or left edge, any display. Tuck it away to a thin line and bring it back with a shortcut. Fold the strip to four tools and a +.
Every key stays in your keychain and goes only to the service it belongs to. Vercel's answers come from Vercel, Stripe's from Stripe. Nothing passes through us.
8tool asks your tools directly, the way their own dashboards do.

FAQ
All of yours. One key activates any number of Macs, and Settings lets you free a Mac you no longer use.

Into the macOS keychain, and from there only to the service each key belongs to: your Vercel token goes to Vercel, your Stripe key to Stripe. 8tool has no server of its own. The privacy policy lists every request the app makes.
No. Claude Code and Codex report your limits themselves: 8tool runs them on your Mac and reads their answer. It never touches the sign-in they keep. Claude Code reports limits for Pro and Max plans; API usage is read with an admin key you make yourself.
A key that can read, and nothing more: the Settings page of each tool says exactly which permissions, with a link to where the key is made. Redeploy and re-run need a key that may write; the card tells you when yours cannot.
macOS 15 Sequoia and later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Selling it ourselves lets us ship updates the day they are ready. Every build is signed, notarized by Apple and checked by macOS when you open it.
